• What makes the wonderfill drink station so unique?

  The station offers a new level of personalization, allowing the selection of filtered water (still or sparkling) healthy and flavorful drinks, as well as functional substances. Through its IoT-Capability the maintenance can be optimized and it’s display can be used to communicate efficiently with employees.

• Where can the dispenser be used?
  

  Our wonderfill station is an ideal solution for offices, sports centres, schools, healthcare facilities, etc. We offer tasty, low-calorie drinks based on natural ingredients that can cover a wide range of consumers. Currently, we primarily offer the dispenser in the region of Zurich, but we are open to expand to other areas as well.

• What is included in our offer?

  With our subscription, you get our wonderfill station along with access to our IoT platform where you can track consumption data and check concentrate levels. Depending on the service package you select, our team takes care of the proper cleaning, timely replacement of the water filter and CO2 bottle and even replacements of the flavour cartridges. • How many drink stations do I need for my location?

  The number of stations is strongly dependent on on-site factors such as employees, frequency and location of the wonderfill station. For an accurate estimate contact us and we will find a tailored solution for you.

• How often do the concentrates need to be replaced?

  The closed concentrates have a shelf-life of 1 year. Once they are connected to the system the flavours should be consumed within 6 months. However, the volume of the Bag-In-Box (BIB) is typically chosen to optimize replacement and shelf life.

• Which containers can I use to get a drink at the drink station?

  At our station, you can dispense a variable volume using the “Pour” button. You should use a container that is less than 28cm high and preferably has a wide opening. In general most reusable bottles and cups are suitable for the use of our station.

• How much does the wonderfill station cost?

  The costs can vary depending on the size of the company and estimated consumption. Therefore, for an offer, it is best to contact us via the website form so we can find the right solution for you. In general, we are working with a flat-fee subscription model with additional variable costs for the flavours.

• How many flavors and supplements are included in a dispenser?

  The station includes up to 6 flavours or supplements. Generally, we are recommending to use 3-4 flavours and 2-3 supplements.

• Do the beverages contain sugar?

  All our flavors are low-sugar. We have optimized the composition of our drinks to achieve an optimal taste with as little sugar as possible.

• Where are the flavors and additives manufactured?

  Our flavors are manufactured in Switzerland while the supplements are produced in germany. We prioritize local manufacturers with short transport routes to avoid unnecessary CO2 emissions.

• Can I change the flavors and supplements myself?

  Yes, our beverages are provided in so-called Bag-in-Box (BIB) cartridges. This allows for an easy and uncomplicated replacement of drinks, keeping the effort of the office manager at a minimum.

Technical

• What is needed to install a wonderfill dispenser in the office?

  A drinking water connection, access to a standard 220V/50Hz power outlet is required. For an efficient operation also a waste water connection is recommended. Alternatively a waste water tank including a water-level sensor can be used.

• How long does it take to install the dispenser?

  We conduct a site visit before installation to inspect the location and access to water/electricity sources. Typically, the dispenser can subsequently be installed in about 2-3 hours, depending on the location.

• How much time does it take to maintain the dispenser?

  The daily cleaning routine takes about 1 minute. It includes the desinfection of the surface area and the nozzle. Depending on the consumption, concentrates need to be exchanged on average once a month which takes less than 5 minutes.

• Can I also install the dispenser in a kitchen?

  The wonderfill station is designed to be positioned in a kitchen or as a stand-alone solution using appropriate furniture. It is important to have the location inspected by our specialists first to ensure conditions are met or to make necessary adjustments.

• How often do I need to clean the dispenser?

  It is recommended to clean the dispenser daily. The cleaning takes less than 5 minutes and is easy to perform.

• How does the dispenser work?

  The station is connected to the local water supply and electricity. The station first filters the water coming out of the water supply. In the station the water is then carbonized and cooled. Before dispensing the water is then mixed with natural flavours and supplements to create a personalized drink. The station is controlled via a touch screen and connected to the internet by Wifi or a 4G-module.

Impact

• Is the dispenser really a more sustainable alternative to the single-use bottle?

  We conducted a Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA) at ZHAW to compare the environmental impact of our beverage station with the conventional consumption of beverages in single-use bottles. The results demonstrated a 49% reduction in CO₂ emissions with our machine. As the system was not yet fully optimized at the time of the assessment, the actual environmental benefits are expected to be even greater.

• How many PET bottles can be saved annually with the dispenser?

  The number of saved PET bottles strongly depends on the location and consumption. Generally, savings of up to 30,000 bottles per beverage station can be achieved if the frequency is high enough and it is assumed that otherwise, a single-use bottle would be chosen for each drink. According to the life cycle assessment we conducted at ZHAW, our solution can reduce plastic waste by 98%.
