The Fountain beverage dispenser at “Die Höhle der Löwen Switzerland”

Although the program was recorded some time ago, we were all incredibly nervous. The compilation was also a first for us, and although we knew of course how our pitch with the lions turned out, the excitement remained until the last second. Are we going to come across well? How will the lions react? These questions went through our heads as the camera panned over our beverage station, the fountain dispenser.

To our relief, we can proudly say: We did well! The presentation went smoothly, and our team presented the idea behind Fountain to our sustainable beverage dispenser with full conviction. Our mission to rid the world of single-use plastic by providing drinking water locally and in an environmentally friendly way was well received by the lions. They were particularly impressed by the innovative touch screens on our dispensers, which enable surveys, advertising and other interactive content.

But as is often the case in the Lion's Den, the praise was also followed by critical analysis. For the lion, our fountain beverage dispenser product was probably still a bit too complex to invest immediately. Despite positive feedback, they have decided not to invest in our project. And that is absolutely fine! We fully understand their concerns and see this presence as an important milestone in our company's history.

Interestingly enough, our product was still called Fountain during the show, but we've evolved since then and now have the new name Wonderfill. Although the name is new, our vision remains the same: to create drinking water dispensers in the form of practical beverage stations that integrate sustainability and innovation into everyday life.

Even though there was no investment with the lions, we come out stronger from experience. The show gave us valuable feedback, which we use to further improve our beverage dispensers and dispensers. The positive reactions from our friends and supporters last night also showed us that we are on the right track.
